I grew up in Austell, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. My first exposure to great wine came when I studied under a sommelier in Charleston. That was all I needed to catch the bug. I went all in and moved to California to study viticulture and enology at Fresno State.
I spent most of my 20s and 30s in wine country following my passion for the art and science of fine wine. I worked in fine dining in California, became a certified sommelier and finally became a professional wine maker, working for estates in Napa, Sonoma, Washington State and even Australia.
When I returned to Georgia, I experienced the other side of the business and sold wine and spirits for two different producers.
Now, I want to take all the great experiences I’ve had and bring it home to Georgia.
